As a child, I was fascinated by watching and playing with ice cubes as they melted. So I think this is a great idea for a summer activity – painting with ice cubes! To prepare, you put a few drops of food coloring in each slot of a water-filled ice cube tray and freeze. Kate on mini-eco suggests laying lots of paper out on the ground for your workspace.
