For this project you need:

  • pants with back pockets
  • fabric scraps in a coordinating color
  • 3M Scotchlite Plus Retroreflective Vinyl
  • paper or cardboard
  • pen/pencil
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • sewing machine
  • rotary cutter/cutting mat (optional)

Reflective vinyl is available in many colors and shines bright white under headlights. Here’s a flash picture of my bike, partially wrapped with the incredible stuff:
