Some embroidery around that fantastic collar and/or pockets would be a great way to spice it up!
Nice dress–would look terrific on my daughter. But her first comment would be: “Mom, would you tie-dye it for me?” If it’s all cotton it would dye up beautifully in strong colors. If it’s a cotton blend like 50-50 cotton/poly, it would look pale and pastel.

There are some amazing buttons on the market. I would add some colorful buttons and belt to accent the white, white of the dress.
