The Sew Nerdy art show opens at Bear and Bird gallery in Lauderhill, Florida, and features some spectacular examples of geekery-meets-craft. Some highlights include the awesome crochet Clocky from Pee Wee’s Playhouse by Allison of Crafty is Cool, the NPR Plush series from Heidi Kenney, and other nerdy favorites from Doctor Who, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more. The show opens with a special event this weekend (with what is possibly the coolest flyer graphic ever), and will be on display through August 11. The artwork will be available online after the opening this weekend. For more information, check out the FB even page from Bear and Bird gallery.
