    On a purely filmmaking note, this is a misuse of the term “stop motion”. Usually stop motion animation is when you have the subject stand still, photograph one frame, then have the subject move slightly, stand still, take another frame, etc. With this they shot full motion video and then showed selected frames for longer periods of time. The giveaway is the motion blur in many of the frames. Calling something like this “stop motion” is insulting to the artist who perform the laborious work of real stop motion animation.
