I like to joke that I must have missed “Cutting Day” in kindergarten. When I’m cutting small pieces of felt for applique projects, I inevitably get frustrated at my wonky cutmanship. I’m bookmarking this post from Laura of Bugs and Fishes by Lupin in which she shares tips for cutting “fiddly” bits of felt for embroidery projects.

    I like using the curved cuticle scissors for curved shapes and if your pattern is cut from sandpaper it will grab the fabric better and not move – a trick my quilting grandmother taught me.
