still an open source design? What other models did you compare to?
The decision to do away with the heated bed and commit to a PLA-only platform is pretty brilliant, IMHO. PLA is better all around: melts cooler, doesn’t smell nasty, and is biodegradable. Streamlines and simplifies the design, too, by doing away with the bed heater and associated electronics.
I’m wondering what that removable plate is. I want it on my machine if it’s easy to remove parts.
