Further proving my belief that al crafters, artists, and makers are the nicest people on the face of the earth, I sent a note to the crew at Maptote asking if I could stop by while attending BlogHer. Sure enough, they invited me over to get a sneak peek at their Brooklyn workspace.

Airy and light, Rachel and Michael Berick’s Brooklyn location is a geography-bag-lover’s paradise. Totes line the shelves with your favorite city listed among the choices. How did Maptote get its start? After a trip to Europe, Rachel and Michael were impressed with the great grocery bags they saw all over. Now we’ve got them here in the States.

Recently they added Detroit to their lineup of cities, so you know I was excited! Make sure to check out their web site to see the latest cities up for possible tote creation.
