Step #1: Prepare yourself for the fun

You will need the following:

  • Styrofoam wreath — I used a 14" wreath, but I think a smaller one would have been better. Choose a size that works for you!
  • 2 rolls of tulle in red and light pink
  • Scissors and 13" box edge

Step #2: Prepare your Tulle

  • Cut 13" strips of tulle. You could measure each piece of tulle at 13" intervals and cut, but that takes a lot of time.
  • To speed up the cutting process, I found a box that had 13" flap. Wrap the tulle around the flap, clipping it in place. Then cut the tulle at the edge of each box flap to get a lot of 13" tulle strips very quickly.

Step #3: Your tulle

  • I have a Silhouette Cameo machine. I cut out two different designs to make this wreath pop.
  • If you don't have a cutting machine, that's ok. Design your own paper decorations or come up with an idea of your own.
  • Hang it on your door and ENJOY!

Hello Julie! This looks like a very fun, crafty project to do with friends or with siblings! I love how you incorporated the theme of pink, red, and white for valentine times day! This would be cool to do for the other holidays like thanksgiving, and christmas. They could possibly be used as present as well. This is something that I would definitely enjoy doing and it is something that is super cute to do with best friends. I love how something so simple to make, uses only simple materials and only a few for a cute decoration. Thanks for sharing this cool crafty project!!!
