Johnny graduated from the University of Virginia with an engineering degree and an interest in film as a hobby. He ran the student film organization, taught classes in digital film making, assisted in film festivals, and has won several regional awards for his own short films. He is now in graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a doctoral degree in Human-Computer Interaction.
