Let's Go Birding
Lisa Myers is a south Bay Area, California native. After receiving her bachelor's degree in communications from Chico State University, Lisa dedicated herself to her family's high school senior portrait business, Sanford & Myers Photo Graphic. Although not a photographer, Lisa proudly took care of everything else involved in running a successful business. After 29 years of providing photographic services to local high schools and creating 140,000 senior portraits, the family sold the studio after the death of founder & father J R Myers. Lisa then spent several years in the world of high tech marketing & sales. Eventually leaving high-tech provided the perfect opportunity to combine her family business experience with her corporate experience, and Lisa founded Let's Go Birding, providing opportunities for the beginning/intermediate adult birder to go birding in a non-intimidating atmosphere.Lisa also serves on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory and works with Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris, a world-wide wildlife tour company.
