Come listen and learn from some of the States top academic research institutions to see how they use computer science and engineering technology to teach, innovate and have fun. This talk will incorporate a series of presentations from students, teachers and researchers; focusing on which classes a student should take, how to design a compelling science and technology project and what type of resources are available to you to design and build compelling projects in the classroom and beyond. Mark Hayes is an Academic Program Manager in Microsoft’s National Platform and Evangelism Team, where is responsible for representing MicrosoftÂ’s research directions and development platform tools to academia; he is actively involved with California vast community of academics, researchers and developers. Mark started his career working on PDP10Â’s for Digital Equipment Corporation.
