The challenge is to send a HUGE inflatable 8-ball up and down in the air activated by...a text message from a cell phone! Michael and Evan had 2 weeks and a budget under $200 to get the job done, so most of the parts were scavanged. They used a garage door opener as the motor/sensor package, the wireless remote hooked into the parallel port of a computer, and a deserted bicycle for gears and wire spool.
