Visit PIXAR with the Cartoon Art Museum
Spend the day at Pixar!The Family Fun Tier (1–4pm) Get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the world of Pixar. Get up close & personal to rare Toy Story art from Pixar’s archives. See a gallery exhibition featuring stunning pre-production artwork from Up. Bid for original, signed works by Pixar creators. Learn to draw favorite characters from Pixar artists. Watch a Pixar shorts festival in the state-of-the-art screening room. For this Tier, doors open at 1 pm. $35/person or $100/family 4-pack.
The VIP Screening Tier (11am-4pm), for the biggest fans, includes everything from the Family Fun Tier plus MORE! Enjoy a 3D screening of the feature film Toy Story 2 and the rarely seen Cars Toon Tokyo Mater, both in Pixar’s state-of-the-art digital theater. Dr. Michael B. Johnson (Pixarian & CAM board member) will lead a Q&A session along with other Toy Story 2 crew. There’ll also be light lunchtime snacks, treats and conversation with the speakers and other Pixar employees, as well as access to Pixar’s Studio Store (where you can purchase hard-to-get Pixar items at employee prices.) For this Tier, doors open two hours early — at 11 am. Cartoon Art Museum members can purchase tickets for the reduced rate of $99. The non-member rate is $149. (Save money and become a member of the Cartoon Art Museum today!) Reserved rows for ten are available for $1,500. Treat your friends or employees to an afternoon of animated fun.
