Audio Fun with Coils

In this workshop, we'll experiment with hand-wound coils for music and sound exploration. We'll make guitar pickups, electromagnetic noise detectors, secret sound transmitters, primitive loudspeakers, spring reverbs, and more. The class involves some simple soldering; if you don't already know how, we'll teach you! And we'll conclude the workshop with an electromagnetic jam session.
