San Jose Harvest Festival
This Black Friday, forget the Big Box stores and support your independent artists at the San Jose Harvest Festival, happening November 23-25 at the San Jose Convention Center.The Harvest Festivals are the largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast, with 10 shows in three different states. Guests can browse over 24,000 unique arts and crafts, all made right here in the USA.
Some of the items showcased include jewelry, photography, woodturnings, blown glass, papercrafts, specialty artisan foods, textiles and much more.
Throughout the weekend there is live music, dancing performances and strolling entertainers.
There will be a KidZone featuring a hands on art activity for children, as well as a stained glass workshop hosted by the San Jose Glass Artist Alliance.
The Humane Society Silicon Valley is the official charity of the show and will receive half the proceeds from every shopping bag sold.
