So much is going on in the next 20 days! First up we have our Maker Faire video for Maker Faire Austin 2007. Bre(bot) in the past traveled to the future to get a gander of what tomorrow's future is today. Sounds confusing, but the video makes perfect sense :)
Next up: our MAKE Flickr pool reached 3,000 members with over 16,000 photos. Take a look and add your projects today.
And speaking of that, check out the MAKE "DIY Halloween" prizes, contests, and more. Last year we had over 2,000 entries--we expect this year to be even scarier!!

Vrgoy alerted us that we've hit another milestone for MAKE, we now have over 3,000 members in the MAKE Flickr photo pool Link AND over 16,000 photos!
Halloween Prizes for the DIY Halloween Contest
Here's the first round of prizes for the DIY Halloween contest--we'll post more as we update them!
Grand prize: We'll pick one lucky DIY Halloween maker and bring you out to Maker Faire (Bay Area, CA) in 2008! A 2 night hotel stay near the event and round trip airfare is included! You'll be our special guest at Maker Faire - we might ask you to bring your costume, gadget, etc...
Hack-o'-Lantern contest: 5 winners total! Each winner will receive a "MAKE warranty voider" or a "MAKE bomb defuser" Leatherman tool.
Costume contest: 5 winners total! Each winner will receive a "DIY" laptop bag by Skooba and year one (or year two) of MAKE!
Decorations, Haunted house, gadgets, and more contest: 3 winners total! Each winner will receive a MAKE controller kit.
Food contest: 5 winners total! Each winner will receive year one of CRAFT (4 volumes) a Sushi wallet kit.
Trick-or-Treat contest: 10 winners total! Each winner will receive a MAKE Pocket Ref.
