I picked up one of these years ago when I was working on tape recorders (audio/vidio) for replacing belts. Now I keep one in my kit and use it to manipulate all kinds of things in hard-to-reach places.
One end has a hook for grabbing and pulling. The other end is designed to push things around.
The tool is about 1/8" diameter and almost 8-1/2" long.
Tool is available online from HMC Electronics. But you can probably find it in your local electronics shop.

OK, the one mentioned here is really nice, but if you don't have that handy, you can make a small substitute. I invented this years ago for clearing out dot-matrix printers that had jammed up with the tractor-feed edges from fanfold paper. It also works well for getting floppy disk parts out of the drive.
Take a large paper clip, straighten out all but the smallest turn, and bend the end at a right angle to make a hook about an eighth of an inch long.
