Here's how this beautifully designed personal library database works: grab a book, scan the URL with your iSight or type the ISBN, and watch the book pop up on a virtual shelf. The software connects to amazon.com to get the cover and the various metadata. Repeat this for all your books (plus your movies and your video games) and you get a virtual re-presentation of your bookshelves all tagged up. The fun doesn't stop here: you can sort your stuff, create custom shelves (think playlists), and sync up with your iPod. You can even drag friends from your Address Book to create a list of borrowers, then lend out books, and let iCal keep track of the due dates.
