Breathe easy. The problem of the ages (by which I mean getting those congealed eggs off the bottom of your pan after you’ve forgotten them in the sink all week) has been solved. My latest crush is this simple plastic pan scraper, perfectly shaped for getting into all sorts of hard-to-reach curves. Not only does it remove the hardened remains of last night’s dinner without damaging the pan (even Teflon is safe), I’ve found it handy for a myriad of other uses, including scraping ice off a car windshield when the regular scraper went AWOL, and removing old paint. Now I just need to drill a hole for my keychain, and it can come with me everywhere I go...
