Find Tools and Tips:Servo Magazine
http://servomagazine.com/
$25 (US, estimated) Buy from amazon.com

Over the years, there have been several attempts at creating a magazine aimed at robot enthusiasts. Sadly, none of them have been around for more than a few issues. So it was with great anticipation that we hobbyists awaited the release of Servo, a robo-centric magazine spun off from the venerable Nuts & Volts.
Each issue strikes a deft balance of project-oriented pieces, articles that tackle more conceptual aspects of robotics, reviews of new hardware and software, introductions to different fields of robotics, how-tos for kids and newbies, and much more. Stand-out features include "Ask Mr. Roboto," Pete Miles's Q&A column, and the "Brain Matrix," a two-page comparison chart of different robot components (microcontrollers, gear motors, radio transceivers).
With so many awesome and affordable robotic parts, powerful microcontrollers, and open source software tools now available, coupled with internet communities to cross-pollinate cool hacks, the time seems perfect for a magazine that can take bottom-up bots to the next level. Let's hope Servo succeeds we're keeping our end
effectors crossed.
