Tip: Speedy Metals is a great place for ordering small quantities of metals for your projects. I've ordered brass tube stock, 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, and tool steel from them. I just ordered a single 18" piece of tool steel from these guys. The shipping was fast and the small order was no problem. I don't know if they were decently priced since I didn't really shop.
