This amped-up Miata is crammed full of technology and dreams. Designed and built in a home garage by John Metric, Adam Clark, and the small team from Lonestar EV Racing, it is the fastest street-legal electric vehicle in the world. They proudly showed it for the first time ever at the Houston Mini Maker Faire.

The “HANG” (Houston Area Nerfers Group) booth was popular all day as they demonstrated pro-grade hacking and modification of the popular Nerf dart guns. Young and old were allowed to try out these high-powered toys as long as they followed the safety rules.
