Last week I put out a call for cool drone videos and that’s what I got: Lots of great footage of drones flying over some beautiful landscapes and doing some real aerial aerobatics. To me, we’re seeing a new art form take shape here because drones and first person video (FPV) offer never-seen-before points of view.

This gallery of drone flights includes a variety of drone footage from all over the world as well as a drone torture test and a conservation drone flight over the turquoise waters of Belize. Have a look and if you have cool drone footage to share please send it my way at sholbrook [at] gmail [dot] with MAKE Drones in the subject line.

The video is not displaying properly. I can only see the first one.

Can only access the Lick Observatory video in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Lose the fancy scripting and just post links!!!

Can you just post the links to the individual videos Stett? Same issues here. Tried several Android and Win7 browsers. Just the first one can be seen. Keeps bouncing back to Observatory and can’t get to others.

  4. Sorry for the snafu. We tried a new gallery function and it’s still a bit buggy. Now they are embedded the old fashioned way.
