This is a typewriter that once belonged to Herb Caen, the famous San Francisco Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and journalist who died on Feb. 1, 1997. Yes, it is one of the famous but small posse of machines that he preferred to use when composing his columns for 59 years. Link.
