Wow…research on electromagnetic weapons does not have as its goal to produce actual weapons but rather to explore some of the very interesting possibilities that this field can have for the benefit of mankind. No Rail Gun, Coil Gun or LASER will ever substitute a firearm. [via] Link.

Interesting projects. I happened across some very interesting, if not entertaining, projects on the website http://magneticenergy.com.
The website has been down for awhile, but archive.org has a copy the PFD with the projects, including a magnetic flux powered space craft.
