Video Camera Stabilizers

Dcp 2935.ThumbScott writes “These are my stabilizers I made based on the instructions in Make Magazine issue 1. I changed it a little by wrapping the pipes with hockey stick grip tape, mounting a Bogen quick-release on one, and the pipes are two different sizes (out of necessity).” Link.

  1. These things are great for those of us who can’t afford pro systems. And frankly, once you learn how to use it properly, the image is usually close enough, even at a full sprint.

    And they’re so durable! I still use the same one I built three or four years ago. Or has it been five years? Hmm…
