Tiny CRT as a monitor for a DVD player…

There are a dozen or so photos on the Flickr photo set to give you an idea of what’s involved – the procured CRT is powered from the DVD player’s battery. To watch the movie you look through a sight, it reminds me of the weird science computer Spock used. Link.

    the dvd player is a regular non-portable one, and the screen is powered from a 12v a/c adapter when finished, i just used a dead dvd player’s power supply to test it before i dug out an a/c adapter to use for it
