MAKE Flickr photo pool member Guero Loco writes – “I made this bike for Burning Man 2002 (oceanic theme). It consists of 7 strands of Lytec EL wire. The tentacles are threaded/tied to hardware cloth mesh that I attached inside the frame. The inverter box is located inside the larger box on the rack. The bike itself was pretty junky. I later cannibalized the wire for other projects, including the “barber pole” I’m currently working on…” Link.
