It’s always fun to take a look back and see how the history of crafting has changed (or not changed) over the decades. I’ve collected a few scans from my friend, Dolin O’Shea’s vintage craft magazine and book collection from the 1920’s to the 1960’s up on my Flickr to share. Link.
Also, Arwen O’Reilly found a searchable e-book version of early Harper’s Bazar where the subtitle says it all, “A repository of fashion, pleasure, and instruction.” Link.
