Tim shows how to turn an old refrigerant can into an air can – “Nice for filling up air mattresses, bike tires, blowing dust out of your computer, etc etc. This is a useful thing to have. If you ever get your car stuck in soft sand, snow, or mud, there’s an easy way to get out. Just let air out of your tires til they’re at about 10 or 15 psi. They’ll have a nice big flat spot on the bottom, won’t sink in nearly as much, and you’ll drive right out…”Link.

deflating your tires is a nice trick! i’ll have to try it nextime i’m stuck. (but i sure hope there is no next time)

I strongly caution against doing this. If you will notice the bottles are clearly marked as non-refillable. The reason for this is there is no way to drain the water that will occur when you pressurize air and it will weaken the bottle via rust (oxidation) over time. I know of at least one death and several injuries when the pressure blew the weakened bottle apart.
