   This “instructables” is missing key information, such as the method for determining the length of string or where to place the thumbtacks.

   Here is a much better article that covers all the common methods and explains why the string and tacks method isn’t very good even if you know how to use it correctly:

   Now, I would be glad to post this on the instructables article, but to do that, I’d have to create a login, and their login-creation program is borked. To report bugs, of course, you need to go to a webpage which means you need to LOG IN.

   Seriously, two minutes of google search produces much better instructions. Sigh.
