Timed, washable soap/ink for kids – SquidSoap

Sqhome
Ink Applicator Explanation
This soap is meant for kids, but looks like tons of fun- “SquidSoap works by applying a small ink mark on a person’s hand when they press the pump to dispense the soap. The ink is designed to wash off after the hands are washed for about 15-20 seconds, which is the time recommended by most doctors. SquidSoap is lots of fun for kids, since they love to get marked. It makes handwashing more like a game. Also, the very stretchable squid toy is a blast to play with and will provide hours of entertainment.” [via] – Link.

  1. Ah yes, yet another commercial product ad. Are the Make folks giving in to the pressures of marketing companies?

  2. rdarlington – pressures? we dont and didnt get paid for this, or marketed to. i suppose i could spend more time and write about how this is a good idea, could be a diy project for other things and maker-made projects and also remind folks how we feature fun gadgets, products and things that we think are interesting, there’s nothing wrong with posting about a commercial product, more so if it’s clever and “teaches”… but that’s what the comments are for :)
