If you’ve ever seen that soothing “breathing” sleep indicator LED on Macs and want to use that same pattern for your electronics projects, here’s one way to reverse engineer it using a MIDIsense (featured in MAKE 07) – Link.

    johnjosephbachir: i thought they were going to reverse engineer it so they can more precisely shoot it with a shotgun

    Anyone have a video of what this looks like?

    and you would think it would be easier to just take it apart and scope the led directly. However I’ve never taken an apple apart.. and this is much more impressive.
