Natasha Fialkov has a great tutorial on making cool looking paper beads which I found through Whip Up. I love the variety of paper used from origami papers or old books. The patterns created are quite unique and colorful. [ via ] Link.

I saw similar instructions for black and orange beads for Halloween here: http://www.celebrating-halloween.com/crafts/halloween-beads.shtml
That was last year and I did it as a project for kids at my church. The kids took back home what they made and from what I hear, they also made more later for giving as gifts. A really easy and fun project that even kids can do, from what I can say.
