At IFA2006, Philips showed off their Lumalive light emitting textiles, the jackets and shirts can play animations as well as change colors. The video has a few clothing examples and a big clock inside a couch… – Link.

  1. They really look lovely, don’t they? Looks like a basic LED matrix. I’m thinking that SMDs would be best for comfort and flexibility. I love the @-symbol jacket. Sooo cyberpunk. I definitely want to do something with the LED-under-fabric idea, it looks so organic.
