This site has a pretty simple interface for making your own ringtones – as always, Maker beware, I’m not sure if they store/keep your phone # or whatever… check out our related links for other ways to get and make free ringtones too… Link.

  1. I made a simpler, less graphical version of this with Perl. For the time being, you can look at it at azrd.dyndns.org/upload.html.
It should work for any platform that supports mp3.
    Also, it’s free.

  2. Read the fine print, if you get this “Free” offer, you just signed up for $9.99 monthly service charge.

“Unless noted otherwise in the service provider terms and conditions, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Dobson, Cellular One, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile users are billed monthly on their mobile service bill at $9.99 per month “
