Garth at Extreme Craft haas been collecting vintage craft magazines and hit the jackpot with nine issues of “Needlecraft” from the late 1920’s to the early 1930’s (one of my favorite eras). In one of the first issues he opened up, he came across a letter from a reader entittled “Needlework as Nerve Tonic”. I love that phrase. Read more to see how needlework can soothe the nerves. Link.
