De semi-automatische bananenpeller

Craft & Design

Fresh Creations sent in this “automatic banana peeler” that has something to do with a BBQ. Seems like a fun art project with a political statement about Chiquita’s recent problems.

In the category ‘Funny But Useless Inventions’ this is surely the winner: an amazingly slow semi-automatic banana peeler. It was invented by a Belgian guy who used a bbq-engine (?!) to make the thing work. Watch the video to see the inventor and his hilarious machine.

I’m guessing the “BBQ engine” is a rotisserie motor.

I’m also surprised to see Mark Twain reincarnated as a German. Ironic!

It’s not a German it’s a Belgian!!! More specific a “flemish” one. And not one to be proud of ;)

@Village_Idiot: It is a rotisserie motor indeed, and I think you just have insulted the 22 million Dutch speaking people in The Netherlands and Belgium (this video is taken from the Belgian television) ;)
