    Bubble wrap has the added benefit of creating an insulative layer with its air pockets. It’s often used by greenhouse gardeners for a little extra protection.

    It will also make things VERY warm if it catches fire. Such plastics are extremely flammable. Just be careful not to place near lights, candles, heating elements, ashtrays, or anything hot that might be placed on a counter or windowsill near these things.
