Gorgeous headline typeface. I was going to guess Twentieth Century, but I don’t think it was developed until after 1937…
My type-nerd friend tells me the asymmetric lowercase-t is a dead giveaway of Futura. There were a lot of different cuts of Futura (including a lot of pirates!) hence why the ‘r’ doesn’t necessarily match what might be on your computer.
Link that thing to a ‘fixie’ and you could have the coolest bike evah.
All that extra momentum and the fixed gear would really put the “Darwin” into urban transportation.
