The turnout at Saturday’s paper bead demo at the L.A. County Fair (hosted by myself and CRAFT Ed-in-Chief Carla Sinclair) was wonderful! Pictured above is Lindsey, a sweet kid who took to the craft almost immediately and whipped up this cute necklace for herself. A lot of people walked away with fun new jewelry that day–and the fun doesn’t stop there. I’ll be co-hosting five more demos at the fair this month, and we’ll have copies of CRAFT for sale at each one. This week we’re offering three demos: Bookbinding 101 with Tyler Bender Book Co., Retro Pincushions with Cathy of California, and Sock Creatures with Jek in the Box.
