This is a good way to get those self portraits right once and for all. The self portrait arm will make your crappy, unfocused shots into instant masterpieces. Not to mention, make you look really dorky while taking them. Also you could easily fashion one of these for yourself with an old golf club or a stick.

What ever happened to the self-timer? Every decent camera since the early 80’s has one of some form.
More importantly, why pay $30 for a stick with a camera attachment when a tripod is similarly priced?
I think it’s more the lack of a long arm.
Mine is actually long enough to take a decent photo that way. But I’m a freak, with long arms and short legs. (My dad calls them “gorilla measurement.”)
