Ok Makers, here’s a portable graphical resistance calculator for iPhones, but it should work on most other things including most/all computers too, enjoy – Link.
Try it out, if there are any changes to make it look better just send me a HTML file and I’ll upload a new version (just keep the credits from the original author in there).

Shouldn’t there be an option for 2% tolerance, with a red band?
shouldnt this be one of the first things anyone memorizes when doing electronics projects?
if they want to do something really useful, they should do an app with the camera that can take a picture of the resistor and tell you the value. my roommate is colorblind, so i have to tell him values of resistors.
Are there any sites where you can do it backwards?
i.e. I need a 2.2K resistor, put in 2.2K and it shows me a picture or just gives me the colours of a resistor.
For people like me who haven’t yet sorted all of their parts this would be much easier.
