Chocolate Scrabble

Designers Mary and Matt have made this chocolate Scrabble bar. Now if only we could come up with a game of Scrabble that involved picking up tiles instead of laying them down… nom nom nom. This is ripe for a remake, especially because you only get one of each letter! – [via] Link.

  1. Awesome project, that should be getting an awesome call from some lawyers right about now. Its totally not legal to sell “chocolate scrabble(tm)”

  2. I don’t think it’s an issue unless Scrabble starts selling less because this is ‘stealing’ its customers. Maybe that’s one of the other IP laws though.

It also may be a non-issue if it’s only a small operation.

  3. The letters aren’t even technically in squares — I’d say the word “Scrabble” on the label is the only real offense (pretty sure it’s copyrighted). That’s an easy change to make, though.
