Dave writes in to tell us about his LED color-shifting Guitar

A bass guitar I made with LEDs that pulse and color shift while I play.

The LED control is just a few programs and uses Pulse-width-modulation to control fading and color selections. You can use whatever you want to control these. This isnt really meant to be a tutorial, just a prototype and how it worked out

He’s currently working on updating the design – we think an integrated color organ would be very cool!
Hmmm, do you suppose Dave’s into . . . LED Zeppelin?
