Kiddie Kool-Aid Weaving

Craft & Design

I love the colorful artwork recently posted on the JanKnit blog (and in the CRAFT Flickr pool). What’s especially cool is that it’s all created by kids, who dyed the wool with Kool-Aid, then used a cardboard loom to weave it up. Check out the original post for more photos and details.

What a great idea for kids! I’ll have to keep this one in the mental stockpile.
PS: You meant loom, not woom, right?

Thanks, Jessica, for posting my project! What a sweet surprise!!
We still have the weavings up in the hallway at school making a little “gallery” for the kids. They have gotten tones of compliments and positive feedback from other students and staff.
(And yes…it’s loom and not woom!) :o)
