Phone shakers sound salty

Check out these table shakers made from the ear and mouth pieces of an old bakelite phone. The receptacle is made from blinker lens caps from the original Morris Mini, but I bet they could be made out of something else… by you! They’re called “Taste of Talking” and were designed by Hank Stallinga. Via Core77.

    In case anyone doesn’t know, Bakelite has a funky smell when it gets wet. I don’t know if it’ll flavor your seasonings or not, but just thought i’d mention that
