unmentionables ready booklet
SwissMiss found this Unmentionables Ready Booklet for letting people know the unmentionable things in life. It caught my eye because I have always wanted to make my own version of something like this for living in NY City. I am never sure if it should be like a ticket book or stickers that I can put on the offending party. It is probably a bad idea in practice, but the booklet is cute.

  1. This is such a cool idea. My pal had a similar thought – she really (really) does not like SUVs. So, she had packets of Post-It! notes with, “Your vehicle is obscene.” printed on them. Since it’s a Post-It, she didn’t feel bad putting as many as she wanted on said vehicle. :-)

  2. I’ve been wanting to do something like this for people using their cell phones inappropriately. I work in a museum and people are always on their phones or forget to turn them off. I want some cards that say, “Your voice is so loud that other can hear your whole conversation,” or “This is not the place to talk about such personal issues,” or “Didn’t your mother teach you that it’s rude to talk on your cell phone in a museum?” I was also thinking of a card with all of the simple cell phone etiquette rules because if they are breaking one, chances are, they are breaking more than one.
