  1. My mother-in-law managed to lose their family’s stockings, and there weren’t any for last Xmas. I’d love to be able to make her new stockings like the ones in the picture!

  2. This book looks and sounds beautiful! Those stockings are adorable and, of course, another thing to put my buttons on. Very nice!

  3. Oh my goodness – is there a person that DOESN’T need this book? I can’t wait to get my hands on it and get started with Alicia’s lovely projects!

  4. I’ve been following Alicia’s blog forever, and I’d love this book so I can make some of her gorgeous projects for my apartment.

  5. The stockings look great and I can’t wait to make them. I’ve been following Alicia’s blog and I’m really excited about her book coming out.

  6. I’m so glad to get to work on one project from this book this weekend! This looks like such a lovely book!
Thank you for this great giveaway, and the free pattern!

  7. I need to make more handmade Christmas presents and I’m sure this book will have loads of stuff that will make everyone happy :)

  8. I’ve just recently started to bring back my craftiness ways of life. I’d love to use this book to spread the fun of personalized handmade items for all of my family & friends. Plus, everything is just so cute! I can’t imagine anyone not wanting the book!

  9. All of these projects look gorgeous, and I would love for the opportunity to be able to work on them. The doll on the cover in particular is exquisite.

  10. I’m so happy to get to make a project from this book over the weekend! This book seems like lots of fun! Thanks for the great giveway and pattern!

  11. I need this book because I have not 1, not 3, but 6 pregnant close friends! All these baby showers and I’m running out of handmade ideas.
Alicia’s “instant heirlooms” sounds like a winner to me!

  12. I need this book for two reasons:
    1. I live in Portland and can make it to the reading! How awesome would it be to say, “Hey, I won your book on this fabulous website! If I buy a copy for my mother-in-law, will you sign it?”
    Which leads me to…
    2. My MIL is a crafting queen and I’m feeling somewhat inadequate. She sews, quilts, scrapbooks and whatever nifty crafty thing you can think of. I can only knit (not very well, but very productively), cook (very, very well, so at least I have that) and paint (walls, that is). Could you please, please, please help me gain her favour in producing gorgeous, authentic family heirlooms that will make her scrapbooking, tradition-loving heart go pitter-patter?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  15. I’ve been following the creation of this book on Alicia’s blog since its inception — its so so exciting to see it come to completion! I’d love love love a copy.

  16. I’ve been following the creation of this book on Alicia’s blog since its inception — its so so exciting to see it come to completion! I’d love love love a copy.

  17. I’ve been following Alicia’s blog for a couple years now and am so excited about her book.
I come from a long line of women who do amazing handwork, quilts, sewing, embroidery, candlewicking, knitting. And while I am an avid knitter, a backslidden cross-stitcher and I do sew a little, I have a very good reason for “needing” this book. However, I am not sure if I dare say exactly why. I’m worried that my friends will read this and find out my big secret.

  18. Because I love collecting crafty idea books which allow me to procrastinate on getting anything actually completed.

  19. I truly admire Alicia and her lovely blog. I would love to win a copy of this book to see what charming projects I can make! *fingers crossed*

  20. I totally need some new inspiration for making great crafts and memories with my daughter. And those stockings are to die for – I’ve got to make one for my girl!

  21. I need this book so I can make great crafts and even better memories. Besides, those stockings are to die for, and now I feel I MUST make one for my daughter.

  22. I would love to own a copy of this book. She is one of my favorite crafty bloggers and I am so inspired by her crafts. I would love to make the items she has in the book!

  23. I would love to win this book! I love Alicia’s crafts and have followed her blog for a long time. I have been eagerly waiting for this book to be published! It’s definitely going on the Christmas Wish List… unless, of course, I am lucky enough to win a copy!

  24. I love Alicia’s blog and I would LOVE this book. I’m making an effort to become even more creative and crafty. This book would help me along the way, but alas, being a full-time mama doesn’t allow me much in the way of a budget for new books. Help me out!

  25. This is on my Amazon wishlist and I’m resisting the urge to buy it in case someone wants to get it for me for Christmas. I have a bad habit of buying things only to unwrap them as a gift a month/week/day later… I adore Alicia’s blog and her ideas and would so LOVE to win this.

  26. wow, I would really love to have a copy of this book. It looks like it chocked full of great ideas for holiday gifts. I just love her blog!

  27. I love Alicia’s work!!! I am always checking her blog for updates and seeing what she has created now. I love crafts and trying to find more fun projects to complete. I would love to be able to make the fun projects Alicia has shown on her blog!!

  28. Why do I need this book?
The holidays are coming up and I need simple, handmade gift ideas, pronto!
Seriously, I’ve been reading Alicia’s blog for two years and it’s such a great sourc of inspiration – would love to win!

  29. Love, love, LOVE Alicia’s blog! Long time crafter here, longer than Alicia has been alive, yet I regularly learn from and am inspired by her….so I NEED this book. Many thanks to crafty blogs and sites!

  30. i’m a children’s librarian by day, but by night I tend to my own library of craft books. this would be such a fantastic addition to my collection – plus I love everything Alicia does and have been reading her blog for years!

  31. I’d LOVE to be chosen as one of the lucky winners of this book. I’m planning to do all handmade gifts this year for x-mas and I just know that this book would make my job just that much more fun, special, and memorable. Thanks for this great opportunity!

  32. I need this book to help me use up all the fabric and linens I’ve collected at yard sales over the years. I need it to make one of those sweet dollies, just like the ones I had when I was a girlie (and still have, bless those tattered old things), for my stepdaughter. I need to pore over its pretty pages during the long, cold, dark winter months ahead, while I munch some homemade bread and plan next year’s Christmas gifts. I need it to help me make Christmas stockings, ornaments, and placemats — all of life’s necessities! I need it. Pretty please. Thank you. (I also need 24 hours a day and 7 days a week free forever so I have the time to make these things. Can I have that, too?)

  33. I look forward to Alicia’s blog everyday. I would love to win the book as I love her work. It would be nice to try out her patterns!

  34. I would adore being chosen to receive a free copy of Alicia’s book! I’m a first year college student who is into misc. crafty things (cross-stitch, embroidery, simple sewing, mixed media collages, etc.), so this book would be lovely as an early Christmas present–especially when money is sometimes hard to find in college :)

  35. Why do I love thee oh CRAFTzine and why do I want this precious book?
    1. I love Alicia. She brings such beauty and grace to our grey NW lives.
    2. I love to craft. I love to create. I make space for it in our home and lives (though not as much in my calendar these days) and I love your magazine.
    3. I love books. While I am a big fan of the blog and web worlds, I most unabashedly LOVE print. The feel, the smell, the finiteness. I would love this book and give it a good home.
    4. With 6 kids at home, I don’t buy too many books for myself anymore. I’ve even had to slash my beloved magazine budget.
Have a fabulous day! Thanks for the opportunity.

  36. I need this book! I am making all my own Christmas presents again this year, and am starting to run out of ideas. Looking for inspiration. I love the blog, can’t wait to see the book!

  37. I have been intrigued by Alicia’s book since she first announced she was writing one. Thanks for the pattern.

  38. I need this book! I am a beginner and I need all the help I can get! It looks absolutely fabulous and I am whipping up some stockings this weekend!

  39. I want to make gifts for my family and friends for Christmas and this book would be perfect! I just started to learn to sew too.

  40. Well, really I guess I don’t NEED the book, but I’d sure love to have it. I love Alicia’s blog and think this would give me even more incentive to get into more sewing and crafting and creative endeavors. I’m making timid, halting steps these days and can use a little lovely encouragement! Thanks for offering!

  41. I have been admiring Alicia for a long time and been reading her blog over 2 years now.
And I’m anxious to buy her Christmas ornament patterns.
Can’t wait to get the book!

  42. I *need* this book because I’m a (self-proclaimed) crafting maven. This book would help me focus some of my craft-loving spirit for the good of my family.

  43. Well, technically I guess I don’t NEED the book, but I’d sure love to own it. I’m making timid, slow, halting steps back into sewing and I need all the inspiration and encouragement I can get. Plus I’m a faithful reader of Posie Gets Cozy. Love Alicia’s blog and all her lovely ideas. Thanks for the offer!

  44. I need this book because it would make me sooooo happy. Why you ask?
Firstly, I’ve been home with my daughter since Monday because she has the trifecta: bronchitis, head cold and ear infection.
Secondly, the 13th was her 2nd birthday….and she was sick….with the trifecta.
Thirdly, now I’m sick too….it was inevitable.
Fourthly, I love Alicia’s blog. What can I say, she’s Fanfreakintastic!!!!
    Please????
    Elena

  45. I would LOVE to win a copy of Alicia’s new book~ her blog has opened up a world of crafting for me (though I am no expert seamstress!) that having a bit of her inspiring magic within easy reach would make those times when the Sewing Bug bites oh so productive!
    Michaele

  49. I can only tell you that Alicia Paulson is a joy for me to read each day on her blog so when I hear she has a book out, I’m there. I love her witty comments about everyday life and I love her perspective on life’s limitations however she makes up for it with her craftiness and simplicity.
You rock Alicia! I hope I can win your book!

  50. Oooh, I NEED this book because I am due soon to have a little girl, and I know I would make good use of the patterns in this book!

  58. Dear Craftzine, Thanks for the chance to win a copy of Alicia’s new book. I need a copy because it would be absolute bliss to open it and escape into her pretty world of inspiration whenever I need to. That need arises pretty frequently right now as I have a newborn and a toddler and feel rather demented these days. I’m a long-time fan of Alcia’s blog and having a copy of her book in my home would be very special.

  59. I can’t wait to get my hands on this book! Alicia is combining my too favorite things… preserving memories and sewing! I am a faithful reader of her blog and I am always amazed at what she dreams up. i.e. the tanglewood purse. If I tried that it would look like a sixth grade home ec. project…and Alicia just turnes it into a beautiful designer purse!

  60. I have been reading Pozy gets Cozy for a couple of years now.
I adore Alicia’s work, house and dog.
    Please pick me!!

My Aunt P has been my inspiration and crafting guru since I was a wee baby, and I just know that sharing with Posie’s book, being a crafter I’ve loved for so long, is going to be the perfect present! And, if I get a free copy, I’ll be able to purchase a copy for myself, and we can tele-craft!

  69. I NEED to win this book because if I don’t, I’ll buy it and then I’ll officially be Alicia’s stalker (I don’t know how to sew…yet)….can’t have that. 73. For starters I can’t sew. I have always wanted to learn.I know this book would point me in the right direction! The people in my life who knew how to sew would never take the time to show me. Although, I do have my brownie troop leader to thank for teaching me to sew on buttons. I wish Alicia was my sister!I would be at her home everyday hoping her ideas and craftieness would some how rub off on me through osmosis or something like that.I love every thing Posie/Paulson. Unfortunatley, she is not my sister so I NEED THIS BOOK! Pretty please with sugar on top and a cherry?

Books that nourish the soul and spirit and fill one’s head with many, many ideas…
    Thank you for your time!

She is a woman who is in love with stitching, color, memories, history, hope and kindness I can only imagine how good this book must be.

  114. I need this book because I just want it. :) It’s sitting on my Amazon wish list. If I won this book here, I could take it off and DH could buy a different crafty book for me. And clearly, I need more crafty books. :) I mean, who doesn’t?

  115. I would love the opportunity to win a copy of this book.

  116. After 2 years of doting on my adorable son, I just found out that I’m pregnant with a little girl! While trucks and trains have been fun, I can’t wait to get crafty with a little girly girl. This book will be the perfect way to bond with her! I can’t wait!

  132. I have always loved Alicia’s work and admire her faithfulness to her gift. And although this book title is on my own wishlist this year, I would ultimately like to receive a copy and give it to my sister. She is years beyond me in experience (in sewing, design, & photography), but I know with a full-time job and a newborn, creative time is a luxury she does not see too often. This book, both the projects and the photography, are absolutely breathtaking. I want her to have a book that bids her to dream of the possibilities. Included in gifting this book, I will offer my services to make a few of her favorite projects. It would be my joy to do this for the sister I have always loved and admired!

  162. Hi! I am a college undergrad who would absolutely LOVE to get a copy of Alicia’s book. I’ve followed her blog for years, and it has never failed to inspire and uplift me. There’s just something so satisfying in making something with your very own hands. In Alicia’s blog I’ve found a comrade-in-arms in this view that many of my twenty-something peers don’t share. Thanks to the online community and the accessibility of publications, I have discovered a whole “family” of crafters who share my love!
So it would mean a lot to me to get this book- not just for its innate qualities as a wonderfully written and beautifully photographed work, but also as a reminder of one of the awesome people who’ve helped me to define crafting not as a simple hobby, but as a way of living life. :-)

  163. To keep it simple:
I would like a copy of Alicia’s book because my goal this year is to make or buy only handmade gifts for Christmas – for everybody! This would definately help me acheive my goal.
    Thanks, Sam

Sad news is, I HAD preordered it but it was for my last mailing address and I couldn’t change it without cancelling the order. So my order got cancelled and I haven’t yet ordered a new copy. Wouldn’t it be fabulous if I didn’t have to go through the ordering process again?

  177. If I won a copy of Alicia’s new book, it might actually make me feel better about our little poodle, Emma, swallowing my husband’s hearing aid. (I am not making this up). I love Alicia’s blog….it always makes me smile at the end of each day. Patty in Kansas

Whenever I’m having a gray day, I’ll go to her blog and feel energized to create, to cook, to sew, and to laugh – I love that. Her photography is amazing, and I am just as excited about all of the beautiful images in this book as I am about it’s contents.
Alicia is an incredible writer, and it is only too perfect and natural that she has done this book. I would absolutely love to have it!!

I love to read Alicia’s blog…her writing makes me smile at the end of every day. Maybe there will be a pattern for a new hearing aid in one of the chapters. Patty in Kansas

  187. Alicia’s book seems to have bright, wonderful pictures that will make me want to get crafty. It will be a thrill to win!

  188. Oh I would love a copy of this book! I’ve been waiting for it to become available for purchase so this is fantastic ;) Thanks.

  189. I would love to have this book because we are having a baby girl in February and I want to make her a beautiful doll that would perhaps become a beloved heirloom.

  190. This book has been one that I have been anxiously anticipating since first reading about it on Alicia Paulsons blog. I expect the projects to be those that will be worth keeping when completed; treasured gifts for the recipients with the added pleasure of creating them.

  191. First of all , that is so generous of both of you. Second, I want to be back on track making things with my hands, and dear Posie’s book should be the perfect inspiration.

  192. Have been anticipating to get my hands on this book! I’d love to get started on some of the projects so that I can make some gifts for the children in a Thai orphanage that is supported by my mom and dad. And my mom, being an avid sewer, I’d love to share this book with her when I visit her in Malaysia, this coming January.

  193. Well I first want to say that I love love love Posie gets cozy and Alicia really was my inspiration to start crafting (well properly that is)…. A few years back I decided I wanted to do something I really love and finally in the coming months I will get that chance…my husband and I will move house and start new careers….I have resigned from my job to study and craft full time…. so mostly I want to say thanks for all the inspiration and I would love a chance to win a copy of Alicia’s new book…so please pretty please pick me! lots of love Nadine…p.s. thanks for the free stocking pattern I am going to get started straight away. x

  194. Thank you for the stocking pattern!
I would love to win this book too! We have 3 little ones I love to photograph, but don’t know what to do with all my pics! We have very little money (we just had to give up our second car) so this book would provide great ways for me to commemorate my children’s pics without having to spend an arm and and a leg.
Thank you again for the free pattern (:

  195. and I livbe abroad and my family is not to handy in online shopping and my own money is needed for sinterklaas presents for them so I need to win it ;)

  196. I have ordered a copy of Alicia’s book for my sister’s Christmas present. However, she may not get it if I weaken and decide to keep it for myself. She may then disown me. If, however, I give the book to my sister I will become very jealous and and I may disown her. So, me winning my very own copy of Alicia’s book may help keep our family together……… I rest my case.

  197. I’ve followed Alicia’s blog from afar, and been inspired by her projects for a long time. I’d love to have this book!

  198. My husband and I are currently living in China, and while it has been a wonderful experience, living in a big city often leaves me feeling a bit uninspired and missing the comforts of home…especially around the holidays. I think Alicia’s book may just do the trick!

  199. This sounds like just what I need! I’m an empty nester with time on her hands to get back into my crafting and this fits the bill so nicely!

  200. I am not patient enough to wait for my library to get around to ask for more copies (I’m currently 9th on the waitlist for my branch alone!) HELP!!

  201. And I’ll just have to add my name to the growing list. Oh Craftzine people, this must be tough–there are some great comments here–from Diedre and her darling little girls Sage and Matilda, to people vying with other crafty family members to one-up their game.
I would like the book because I always felt Alicia was a kindred spirit in the crafting world, dreaming and scheming ways to add a little craft joy to our lives–whether it be embroidery on a pillow case or making exquisite Christmas tree ornaments.
Today, my sweetie and I just put in a bid for our first house which will surely be a craft explosion as soon as we get the keys. And I’m finishing up my most important craft project due in February–a baby and would love to find inspiration from Alicia’s book to add just a little bit more childhood into my baby girl’s life.
Thanks and I LOVE CRAFT MAGAZINE! It was love at first site on the newstands.

  202. I need this book to finally get me started on sewing regularly. I’ve been collecting fabric and notions for a while now and they just sit there :)
    Thanks for the stocking pattern!

  203. Hi there,
I already (pre)ordered Alicia’s book and hope to receive it soon, ha! But when I read about this book give a way in Alicia’s blog I thought I would love to give a copy to my mum. It would be good for her: some oldfashion making needs to happen!

  204. I started reading Alicia’s blog just two months after she started it. I’ve love her creativity, and her enjoyment of a domestic life. Her book would be a joy to own.

  205. Jenny, I need this book for my sanity. I homeschool 3 boys and have a 4 year old daughter, in between lessons with the kids I visit Alicia’s blog to bring some lovely sanity back to my life, it centers me, encourages me and helps me be a better mom. But sometimes the one of the boys are on the computer and I feel myself going crazy But if I had her book to look at and dream of completing her projects in my free time then you would be saving me tons of counseling bills. If you want to keep this Florida mom sane PLEASE pick me. Thank you for featuring Alicia and doing this give-away.

  206. I would love to win this book because Alicia has been an inspiration to me for years. She teaches her readers to look for beauty in the everyday and helps me aspire to a life where being creative is an essential part of daily life. This book will only feed my craft fever!

  208. I would love to win it, because Alicia and her work have a special meaning to me. She attracted me to this type of work and I am an now hooked to new forms of handcraft than cross-stitch, my long-time passion. I’ve ordered supplies to do some of her creations and already did two of her felt ornaments.
Plus, I’m be happy to represent Poland and Norway in this draw and would love to spread word about this wonderful book among my talented friends and be able to show it!:)

  209. and so are my toes. Who wouldn’t want a new craft book to drool over and get inspired and heady over!!! I enjoy the simpleness and aesthetic of Alicia’s projects and would love to bring them into my home and those of others – just in time for Christmas.

  210. I really appreciate give-a-ways. Since our economy is declining rapidly, it seems alot of people are like me. Wanting nice gifts, without the nice price. I just started sewing earlier this year. I am branching out and looking for new things to make for gifts this holiday season. I would love to have this book to show me new patterns and ways to make gifts for me and those on my list.

  211. I’ve been admiring this lovely book for a while now and I’ll be so excited to discover the jems that I’m sure are hidden inside. From the quick peak I’ve had I can tell that the dollies are particularly adorable with their sweet little yarn hair and lovely frocks. I know my daughter would cherish one of them forever.
I love books with projects I can use recycled materials for, I really like incorporating a favourite article of clothing into something new and wonderful for the kids. This book looks like just the thing for some more upcycled crafty mama gifts for them and other friends and family.
I think it’s so incredible that a fellow crafter has published such a professional and terrific looking book. It’s certainly inspired me to think that maybe I could do that myself one day.

  212. I have Alicia’s book on my Christmas list this year. I am so trying to be good and no0t run out to get it ahead of time. But, if I won it I could place another book on my list. :)

  213. I’d love to win this book. I’ve just started trying to embroider and frankly, I need all the help I can get.

  214. This book is on my christmas list, but i’d love it a bit early so i could use it for amazing christmas presents!!

  215. I am happy to have an opportunity to win this. I have been eyeing this book but as times are tough needing to hold off. I would love the patterns in the book to make some Christmas presents. Thank you!

  216. I’d love to have this book as I want to continue to carry on the traditions of my mother, my mothers mother and my mothers mothers mother etc as they used their hands to create so many things with care, love and patience. There’s something special about creating something with your hands that is useful, unique and beautiful. Most of all, I just love to see what others create especially the beautiful pictures.

  217. I NEED to have this book just because! I love reading Alicia’s blog and browing her photos, it always makes me giddy! Plus, this mom of 3 could definitely use the inspiration. So send one this way please =)

  222. I’m a devoted reader of Alicia’s blog and such a big fan of her work. I would love to have this book and put it to good use!

  223. I would love to have one of the books for a couple of reasons. I really enjoy reading her blog and get inspired regularly. I have been starting to do some crafting this year and have actually MADE several Christmas presents (I’m so proud!) and, I’m a transplanted Pacific Northwestern-er who misses the rain, fog, mist, beautiful scenery and all things from that area. Alicia’s crafts are the perfect thing to do while being cozy in front of a fire!

  224. I am a devoted reader of Alicia’s blog and her work. I would love to have this book and put it to good use!

  225. Hooray for Alicia and Posie Gets Cozy!
I’ve been waiting for this book for months!
This year, I am determined to make a lot of my daughter’s presents and this would be the perfect inspiration for rainy days stuck inside.
All the photos look like sweet, cupcakey, merry-go-round goodness, lovely.

  226. I just got my first sewing machine and need a teacher like Alicia. Reading her blog and being exposed to her good sense, warm heart and lovely work always makes me feel a little better about the world!

  227. I love those stockings! This holiday season I have developed a new love for them. And I would LOVE to have this book, because I just recently got my own sewing machine, and started stitching regularly (taught myself, I’m kinda proud!) and I don’t own any stitch books! And I know Stitched In Time is great because I’ve wishfully flipped through it :)
    Thanks!

  228. I would love to win this book! I love creating heirlooms that my children can keep and treasure. Making something for someone shows how much you care. The time and thought given to the person you will give the gift too is so special.. I would love to win this book!!!

  229. My goal this year is to make all my gifts for the holidays. This book will send me on my way to an incredibly crafty start. Handmade is so much more personal and fun and I have a stash of materials that desperately need to be made into gorgeous projects. I know there are many deserving crafters out there, but please pick me as one of the winners.

  230. I’d love to win a copy of Alicia’s book because I got my first sewing machine last Christmas and have been practicing, practicing, practicing and my projects finally seem to be turning out more how I envision them–it’d be awesome to have some new inspiration and new projects to tackle. Thanks for the contest!

  231. Ok, I am very proud, yet slightly hanging my head in shame. At 40, yes 40, I am just starting to flex my tiny crafting muscles. Having an 8 yr old daughter that is interested in doing projects together has stretched my interest in more than just lurking in craft blogs admiring the pictures. Now I am actually SEWING, learning to knit, and much, much more. This book would be perfect for our first endeavors together and to create those special memories, not of talents passed down from one generation to another, but of talents learned together, side by side.
Thanks for considering us (yes, my daughter, Autumn, is reading this over my shoulder)!

  232. I’d love to win this beautiful book! Alicia does such wonderful crafting. It’d help me get organized for a homemade Christmas.

  233. I have been a big fan of Alicia’s since discovering her blog about 2 years ago. She is an inspiration, and it has been incredible watching this book develop from conception to the final product! I love the way she adds a personal touch to all her creations, and this book is no exception! I would love to have her book, but my husband is a minister, and we are on such a small budget that I cannot afford it right now. Perhaps this contest will be my chance!

  234. I would love to have a copy of this book. We’re having a low-budget crafting/creating Christmas this year . . . not spending money where we don’t have to. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t look for ways to create something beautiful. This book would definitely help us accomplish our goal. Thanks for the offer.

  235. I need to win this book, because it looks absolutely fantastic! And I’m living in Europe…for some reason noone here sell the really cool craftbooks :( So this is a great chance for me to get this!

  236. I’d be over the moon if this book made its way to my house! The little bits I’ve seen online are beautiful and I’d love to make so many of the projects. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll loan it out to my very crafty sister (if I can bear to part with it).

  237. Oh. Oh. Oh. I want a copy! Pleeeeze!
Alicia’s work is so lovely, and I just know this book will be Grand!
Besides, I just know I can fit in another dozen projects between now and Christmas (just don’t tell my husband… )

  240. OH! OH! Crap! The computer went all wonky, and then I didn’t see that the newest comments were listed first.. I thought the computer had eaten my comment.. and now I’ve quadruple posted… I am such a dork! I am soooo…. sorry. *blush*

  241. I think this is just what I need for gift-making this year! And I will definitely be making those adorable stockings!

  242. I am and avid stitcher, crafter and a huge fan of Alicia’s
and her lovely Corgi “Clover”. I also fondly remember Audrey.
Alicia has a lovely homey style to all that she does.

  243. I need this book!!!! I am in a crafting slump, and I know for sure Alicia’s work can inspire me right out. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her book and it couldn’t have come at a better time. So I will patiently wait here, amongst my piles of paper and fabric and glue and glitter, and wait for the good news that I have been picked. I have a lot of crafting to do, and could use a little help!
Oh! and times are really tough right now… I am the type of person who would spend my last dime on this beautiful book over say, groceries… because I am a big believer that crafts and making something beautiful can feed the soul…so winning this book would be a real treat right now.
    Thanks!

  244. I actually have a very personal reason to want a copy of her book – whether I win one here or save the money up to eventually buy it. Two years ago I was in a car accident and suffered whiplash, a shoulder and back injuries. Unfortunately, I haven’t healed as well as could have been expected and developed some secondary problems. In an issue of the Hallmark magazine I found at the library, Alicia was interviewed and mentioned how healing she found crafts after she was in an accident. I found that personally very inspiring, inspiring enough to want to start to work with my hands again – as much as my shoulder will let me. I find her to be a truly beautiful person, inside and out. She gives hope to those of us who need it. Until I get the book, I will continue to read her blog religiously.

  245. Ah, I have been eyeing this book! I got a new sewing machine for my birthday and I need some inspiration to start cranking out the projects!

  247. … Alicia’s designs are so wonderful and her photos make me happy. I want to be able to make all these lovely things for the people I love.

  248. Hello there. I would love to have this book because Alicia’s blog has helped me change my life and I want to always remember what my real reason is for being alive.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to tell the world how much we love this talented, generous, funny, and kind woman!

  249. I would love to own this book because Alicia is so inspiring. I love making things for friends and family and I think this book will give so many inspiring ideas.

  250. When I ponder Alicia’s adorable crafts and sift through her whimsical blog, I am filled with warm, fuzzy memories of when I had my mother in my life… whom I lost to cancer at the age of sixteen. My mother was an “at home mother” to three children, as I am, now, to two of my own. I, like my mother, also love to make and create things for and with my girls as she did for me and my siblings. It warms my heart to give my girls the same warm fuzzy crafting memories that my mother gave to me – the warmest, fuzziest memories never fade. I am honored to be married to a police officer, which tells you that I am on a limited income so this book would truly feel like a sweet blessing to me and my family.
Thank you for your consideration and happy crafting!

  251. I would love to have this book as I follow her blog all the time. Also I would like to get back into sewing and Never win anything so this would break my unlucky streak.

  252. I would love to have a copy to make things with my daughter. I hope that she grows up to see things in a crafty way herself.

  253. I love Alicia!
I’ve been a fan of hers for years, pre-blog and am lucky to have some of her skirts and other goodies purchased as gifts.
Alicia has inspired me to learn how to sew, so I can make my own Posy-inspired gifts.
With this book, now I’ll be able to!
Thanks for the opportunity to win.
    Wish me luck!

  254. I would love to have this book – I need to have this book! How fabulous would it be to be able to make my own gifts this year? Very!

  255. Love Alicia’s blog and have tried her recipes. Now I’d like to try some of her crafts, so I need this book!!

  256. I am a huge HUGE fan of Alicia and her blog Posiegetscozy.com. And since it’s my birthday in 10 days, this would be a wonderful surprise! She’s always fed my creative hunger. I’ve purchased a few of her kits in the past and they were so fun to do. A wonderful escape from a busy week.

  257. I am a huge fan of Alicia’s. I would love to have a copy of her book! I can’t wait to see what’s inside it!

  258. Isn’t Alicia the best! I would love to have her for my next door neighbor to trade ideas, work on projects together, and just hang out. Since that doesn’t seem feasible, her book will do as a stand in! Now off to work on some stockings. Thank you!

  259. I’d love to win this book as I’ve left my beloved home to move far away and make home for my Beloved. I’d love to use the ideas in this book to make a house into a new home and make handmade gifts for his family (and mine!) this Christmas.
